Healthcare Data Engineer – FHIR Platform

Innovaccer is hiring a Healthcare Data Engineer to build FHIR-compliant data pipelines processing clinical, claims, and pharmacy data for 100M+ US patient records — enabling healthcare organizations to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.

• Build FHIR R4-compliant ETL pipelines for EHR and claims data
• Develop HL7 v2 ADT and ORU message parsing and transformation
• Design HIPAA-compliant data lake architecture for patient data
• Build clinical data quality monitoring and alerting
• Collaborate with data scientists on clinical ML feature pipelines
• Monitor pipeline SLAs for healthcare data freshness

• 3–5 years data engineering with healthcare domain experience
• FHIR R4 data models and HL7 v2/v3 message processing
• Apache Spark and PySpark for clinical data transformation
• Airflow for healthcare data pipeline orchestration
• AWS: S3, Glue, Redshift, and Athena
• HIPAA-compliant PHI data handling
• dbt for healthcare data modelling
