Full-Stack Software Engineer – Distributed Systems & AI

A Full-Stack Software Engineer with expertise in distributed backend systems, AI-powered applications, and modern web technologies will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, high‑performance applications at Setoo.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure and high‑performance full‑stack applications.
• Build distributed backend services, microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Develop backend systems using Python frameworks such as FastAPI and Django, and Node.js.
• Create responsive, performant frontend applications using React and Next.js.
• Design and optimize relational, NoSQL and vector database systems.
• Develop AI‑powered applications using LLMs, RAG architectures, embeddings, semantic search and vector databases.
• Integrate third‑party APIs, AI models, external services and data processing pipelines.
• Implement authentication, authorization, caching, asynchronous processing and background jobs.
• Write clean, modular, reusable, testable and maintainable code.
• Apply design patterns, OOP principles, SOLID principles and software architecture best practices.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, testing and production troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with product, data and engineering teams to deliver reliable software solutions.

• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with FastAPI, Django, Node.js, React, Next.js
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis and database design
• Experience with vector databases such as Qdrant, Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma or FAISS
• Understanding of RAG pipelines, embeddings, semantic search and LLM API integration
• Solid grasp of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns and system design
• Experience building microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems
• Proficiency with Docker, Git, CI/CD, Linux, unit and integration testing
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, caching and asynchronous processing
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
