EXL Service is hiring a Data Warehouse Engineer to build and maintain a Snowflake cloud data warehouse for a Fortune 500 US insurance company's actuarial, claims, and underwriting analytics.
- Design and build Snowflake data warehouse for insurance analytics
- Develop dbt models for claims, premium, and actuarial datasets
- Optimise Snowflake query performance and warehouse sizing
- Build Airflow-orchestrated ETO pipelines from core insurance systems
- Implement Snowflake data sharing for actuarial partners
- Monitor data SLAs and resolve pipeline failures
- 3–5 years data warehousing engineering experience
- Snowflake architecture: virtual warehouses, clustering, and data sharing
- dbt for Snowflake data modelling and documentation
- Airflow or Matillion for ETL orchestration
- Strong SQL and dimensional data modelling
- SnowPro Core certification preferred
- Insurance analytics domain experience preferred
