HDFC Bank is seeking a Data Engineer for its Business Intelligence Unit (BIU) within the Finance department. The role involves identifying trends in data sets, developing algorithms to transform raw data into actionable insights, and acting as a liaison between business teams and IT to meet data-driven objectives.
- Understand business requirements and construct algorithms to define rules and create data architecture
- Analyze data trends to identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality
- Use large data sets to address business issues and deliver updates to stakeholders
- Develop and maintain scalable data architecture and ensure data integrity and security
- Present actionable insights through dashboards and visualizations
- Degree in Computer Science, Finance, or Banking Technology (MBA Finance preferred)
- Proficiency in MSBI, SQL Server, and Data Analysis
- Strong data analysis and visualization capabilities
- Programming knowledge and experience handling large data sets
