Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Join Cisco’s Enterprise AI team in Bengaluru to build secure, scalable AI platforms that empower teams to safely develop, deploy, and operationalize AI-powered solutions. As a key technical member, you will tackle complex networking and service mesh challenges across a global footprint, maintaining high-availability platforms for advanced AI initiatives.

• Develop and maintain Terraform scripts to provision and manage scalable GCP and On-premise Kubernetes resources and Docker containers.
• Configure and optimize Anthos Service Mesh (ASM) and Istio for service-to-service communication, security, and observability.
• Implement and audit IAM roles and GCP Quotas, ensuring the environment is secure by design with robust encryption and secrets updates.
• Build and leverage observability dashboards using Elasticsearch and Kibana to monitor system health and provide proactive alerts.
• Execute capacity planning and scaling for new feature rollouts, ensuring the environment stays within defined cost envelopes and security standards.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud/On-prem Operations or DevOps.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Extensive experience with IAM implementation, GCP Quota management, and Anthos Service Mesh (ASM)/Istio.
• Proven experience with Apigee and the ELK stack.
