The Business Analyst is responsible for driving end-to-end requirement discovery, documentation, and validation across complex platforms in the financial and insurance domains. The role partners with product owners, business stakeholders, and technology teams to translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and testable acceptance criteria.
- Plan and conduct requirement elicitation via workshops, interviews, and data analysis
- Produce BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and process maps
- Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and feasibility studies
- Ensure end-to-end traceability across the SDLC
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and collaborate with QA to define test scenarios and support UAT
- 5–10+ years of hands-on Business Analysis experience
- Experience in large financial services or insurance organizations
- Proven delivery within Agile/Scrum frameworks
- Strong background in requirement elicitation, process modeling, and gap/impact analysis
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, and SQL
