Responsible for owning backend features end‑to‑end on a live marketplace, including listings, orders, payments, payouts, and their integrations. Ensures correctness and reliability of critical financial operations while working with a Laravel stack and MySQL database.

  • Develop and maintain backend services for listings, orders, payments, and payouts.
  • Design and implement integrations with external services and payment gateways.
  • Ensure data consistency and correctness across all financial operations.
  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS/DigitalOcean, leveraging containers or VMs as needed.
  • Write and maintain queued and scheduled jobs for background processing.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers using Blade, jQuery, or Vue SPA.
  • Proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework
  • Experience with MySQL database design and queries
  • Familiarity with AWS or DigitalOcean deployment environments
