Associate Software Engineer - Data Path

Nasuni is looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join our Datapath team in Hyderabad. This is an early-career engineering role for someone who wants to build strong foundations in C++, Linux, systems programming, debugging, and performance-sensitive software.

• Contribute to core data-path capabilities behind Nasuni’s cloud-native file data platform.
• Work with experienced engineers to implement code changes, fix defects, and strengthen test coverage.

• Implement, test, and maintain C++/Linux software for well-defined Datapath features, fixes, and tools.
• Debug issues in your code or assigned components using logs, tests, debuggers, and mentor guidance.
• Write unit tests, improve test coverage, and help reproduce product issues with QA and Performance Engineering.
• Learn and apply systems concepts involving memory, threading, file I/O, networking, latency, throughput, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions with clear questions and thoughtful feedback.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of software engineering experience, including internships, co-ops, academic projects, open-source work, or early professional experience.
• Foundational C++ or C programming experience on Linux.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and basic networking concepts.
• Basic debugging experience using tools such as gdb, logs, test output, Linux command-line tools, or similar diagnostics.
