Associate Business Analyst (Adv excel, SQL & secondary research)

Gartner is seeking an Associate Business Analyst to help ensure high-quality, business-critical data is available to support effective decision-making, sales, and client management across the enterprise. You will independently execute operational data initiatives, resolve complex data issues, and drive process improvements across enterprise, account, and contact data domains.

• Independently execute data operations and data quality initiatives across enterprise, account, and contact data domains
• Research and verify corporate hierarchies, annual revenue, industry classifications, locations, and other firmographic information
• Compare information across business information providers such as Dun & Bradstreet and S&P, and resolve discrepancies
• Identify and correct duplicate records, inaccurate information, and data anomalies across systems
• Support sellers and internal partners by resolving data-related questions and requests in a timely manner
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of research, decisions, issue resolution, and process changes

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in data operations, business analytics, sales operations, business information, or data quality
• College graduate; BE/BTech, ME/MTech, or MCA preferred
• Strong research, analytical, and business problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in SQL, including writing, troubleshooting, and independently executing queries
• Strong Microsoft Excel and database skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
