Associate - Analytics Data Engineer

Join a team focused on analytics enablement, designing analytics-ready data models and a trusted semantic layer that standardizes business metrics. You will partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into well-modeled datasets in Databricks and Snowflake.

• Build analytics-ready data models and a trusted semantic layer.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into governed datasets.
• Optimize performance in Snowflake and Databricks using SQL and Python.

• Lead development of analytics data models optimized for reporting and business intelligence.
• Design and maintain a semantic layer to ensure consistency across dashboards and analyses.
• Build transformations primarily in SQL, leveraging Python when needed.
• Implement and champion data quality controls and anomaly checks.
• Optimize model performance in Snowflake and Databricks.
• Establish modeling standards, documentation, and lineage.

• Master’s degree with 3 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in IT, CS, MIS, Operations Research or a related field.
• Advanced SQL skills including complex joins and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, facts, dimensions, and semantic layers.
• Working experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks.
• Practical Python skills for data workflows and automation.
